DiamondDJ ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by Flikah LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the DiamondDJ mobile application ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

DiamondDJ is a local-first application. The vast majority of your data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. Specifically:

• Team names, player names, jersey numbers, positions, and photos you enter are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage.
• Walk-up music preferences (YouTube URLs, start times, durations) are stored locally on your device.
• Collectible cards you earn are stored locally on your device.
• Your selected announcer voice preference is stored locally on your device.

2. YouTube Integration

The App uses YouTube's embedded player (via react-native-youtube-iframe) to play walk-up music. When a YouTube video plays in the App, your device communicates with YouTube's servers in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. We do not control or have access to data exchanged between your device and YouTube.

3. NFT Wallet (Optional)

When you mint a collectible card, the App generates a custodial cryptocurrency wallet on your behalf. Your wallet address is stored on our servers to enable card minting on the Base blockchain. No personal identifying information is associated with your wallet address beyond what is stored locally on your device.

4. Instagram Sharing (Optional)

If you enable Instagram auto-posting in Settings, the App will send card images to our server to post on your behalf via the Instagram API. This feature requires a DiamondDJ account and is entirely opt-in. You can disable it at any time in the App's Settings.

5. Camera and Photo Library

The App may request access to your camera and photo library to:

• Capture a photo when you tap HOME RUN (to include in the Epic card)
• Save earned cards to your photo library
• Set a player profile photo

Photos you take or select are stored on your device. If you save a card, it goes to your device's photo library. Photos are not uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly share a card via the Share button.

6. Microphone

The App requests microphone access for optional custom player announcement recording. Audio recordings are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.

7. Music Library

The App requests access to your music library to allow you to use locally stored audio files as walk-up stingers. We do not access, copy, or transmit your music library content.

8. Analytics and Crash Reporting

We do not currently use any third-party analytics or crash reporting tools. If we add these in the future, this policy will be updated.

9. Children's Privacy

DiamondDJ is intended for use by coaches, parents, and team managers. The App is designed for general audiences (rated 4+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

All locally stored data can be deleted at any time by using the "Clear All Data" button in the App's Settings tab, or by uninstalling the App. This will delete teams, players, preferences, and locally stored cards. Note that cards that have been minted on the Base blockchain cannot be deleted as blockchain transactions are permanent.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated effective date.
